QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

WHO IT'S FOR
Who is this for?
The game came first, the training angle second. Play it for the win. Three kinds of people show up in practice: sellers and marketers playing for fun and the leaderboard, teams using it to build GTM pattern recognition in onboarding or team sessions, and a few sales leaders using it to see how a candidate thinks through a deal under pressure.
Do I need to know B2B sales or ABM to play?
No. The game teaches the concepts as you go: buying committee, resistance, champions. Sales experience helps you spot why a play works. It won't stop you from winning without it.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser, free, with no signup. An account is only needed to save a score to the leaderboard. Best played on a laptop or desktop for now.
Is this an official training product?
No. It's a game built from real GTM tactics (see below). Some teams use it informally in onboarding. There's no certification or curriculum behind it.
Can I use this to screen candidates?
Some sales leaders do, informally, as a quick read on decision-making under pressure. Nobody has validated it as a hiring instrument, so treat it as a signal, not a test.
HOW THE GAME WORKS
What's Resistance?
Every stakeholder on the buying committee carries a Resistance score. Cards that match their concerns lower it. Push it under 22 and they flip to your Champion.
Who sits on the buying committee?
Four to eight stakeholders, drawn from Executive, Legal, Finance, IT, Procurement, RevOps, Data and more. The mix is set by the account archetype, so no two boards are the same. Your first deal is a deliberately small one: three contacts, with the softest one flagged for you.
What's the win condition?
Reach the champion count before the rival does. It is a race to a number rather than a head-to-head tally, and the target is most of the committee, never all of it. The HUD shows it as "X of Y needed", where Y is the win threshold, not the total number of departments. Those two numbers look similar on screen, so check which one you are reading.
What's Budget?
What you spend to play cards each turn. It refills every round and your ceiling grows as the deal goes on. Sequencing matters more than volume: pick the right stakeholder and the right card before you spend it.
What's Decay?
Resistance you have knocked down can climb back up if you leave it unfinished. A decay warning shows before it happens. It is gentle on Prospect and switched off entirely in your first deal.
What's a Blocker?
A gatekeeper who rejects every card until you clear them with Navigate Politics. The board flags a blocker so you know why a card got rejected. Blockers appear from Enterprise upward, so you will not meet one until you have won a couple of deals.
What's Synergy?
Some cards boost each other when you play them in sequence or on the same target. Finding these chains is most of the skill ceiling.
What's the Rival and Rival Threat?
An AI rep works the same account as you. Their Threat bar rises over the game; at higher levels it can trigger stronger or double attacks. Rising threat means defend now or speed up.
What's ATLAS?
Your in-game advisor, the Account Targeting & Learning Advisory System. It reads the committee, builds your deck, and tells you where to move next. You make the final call.
Can I choose the difficulty?
You earn it. Everyone starts on Prospect. Enterprise opens at three wins, Contested at five and Strategic at eight, and each rung tightens something: less budget, fewer rounds, a sharper rival, more gatekeepers, faster decay. Past Strategic the rival keeps getting sharper with every win. Scores are weighted by tier, so a Strategic win outranks a Prospect one.
How long is a game?
15 to 24 rounds depending on tier, which is a few minutes per run.
What happens when I lose?
The debrief shows the whole committee, how close each one got, and what the rival finished on. Your first deal is built to be won. After that, losing is part of the design.
